Hezbollah Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem commemorated the “journey of giving” of the late Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi on Sunday, marking the first anniversary of Raisi’s martyrdom in a helicopter crash last year, alongside his companions.

In a statement reported by Al-Manar, Sheikh Qassem described the late leader as a “great asset for Iran,” emphasizing that Palestine “was always in his thoughts and concerns.”

In a recent statement, Sheikh Qassem commended Ayatollah Sayyed Raisi, highlighting his unwavering commitment throughout his career. Describing Raisi’s path as a journey of giving, Qassem acknowledged the significant and sensitive roles Raisi has held, noting that he has remained consistent and unchanged in his dedication to service.

The Secretary-General of Hezbollah stated that the accomplishments of martyr Sayyed Raisi, who served under the guidance of Imam Khamenei, are a testament to the foundational influence of Imam Khomeini. The remarks highlighted the significant roles of both the current Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei, and the late architect of the revolution, Imam Sayyed Rouhullah Khomeini.

Sheikh Qassem commended the late Iranian president, highlighting him as a pivotal figure in bolstering the resistance in Lebanon and throughout the region.

The Hezbollah leader stated that the situation in Lebanon was consistently a primary focus for him. He frequently inquired about the Master of the Ummah’s Martyrs, Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah, and sought detailed information related to these matters.

Sheikh Qassem emphasized the privilege of standing alongside Palestine, Lebanon, Islamic Iran, and all esteemed resistance fighters in the region, underscoring their unity and commitment to the cause.
