Hezbollah Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem emphasized on Saturday the significance of International Al-Quds Day, instituted by the late Iranian revolutionary leader Imam Ruhollah Khomeini to be observed every last Friday of Ramadan. He described the day as a symbol of solidarity with the occupied city of Al-Quds and all oppressed people globally, standing against tyrants attempting to subjugate nations.

In a televised address marking International Al-Quds Day, Sheikh Qassem cited Imam Khomeini, highlighting the significance of Al-Quds Day as a symbol of the struggle between the oppressed and their occupiers and oppressors.

Sheikh Qassem referred to a statement from the Supreme Leader, Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei, emphasizing that for Iran, the Palestinian issue is not merely tactical but holds religious and strategic importance.

Sheikh Qassem asserted that, following the declaration of International Al-Quds Day, considerable progress has been made in advancing the Palestinian cause, particularly in the context of the Shah regime’s downfall.

In a significant development, the event termed “Al-Aqsa Flood” has drawn notable attention. Analysts are closely monitoring the situation for its potential implications and broader impact.

The leader of Hezbollah has stated that the enhancement of the group’s resistance capabilities has enabled the execution of “Operation Al-Aqsa Flood,” which significantly internationalized the Palestinian cause.

The leader of Hezbollah has made a provocative statement, referring to Israel as a “cancerous and expansionist gland” allegedly employed by U.S. interests. He further claimed that only through the resistance’s efforts has the Zionist agenda been forced to retreat in specific areas.

Sheikh Qassem expressed confidence in the inevitable triumph of the Palestinian people, emphasizing the fulfillment of a divine promise in their favor.

Hezbollah Pledges Support to Gaza

Hezbollah has affirmed its support for the Palestinian cause and the imperative to liberate holy sites in Palestine, according to statements made by its leader. He emphasized the religious authority of Imam Khamenei concerning this matter.

Sheikh Qassem emphasized Lebanon’s strategic priority in backing the Palestinian cause to resist settler and naturalization agendas. He reaffirmed the slogan, “We are committed to the covenant, O’ Al-Quds.”

Hezbollah’s support for Gaza has been underscored by the martyrdom of Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah, according to Sheikh Qassem.

**Israeli Threats Intensify**

Sheikh Qassem emphasized that Lebanon is a target of Israeli strategies involving the construction of settlements and the potential naturalization of Palestinian refugees. He asserted that only resistance can effectively counteract these threats.

Sheikh Qassem highlighted that while the Resistance might not be able to completely stop enemy attacks, it aims to thwart their objectives. He noted that the Resistance successfully averted a large-scale Israeli military invasion in the recent conflict.

Sheikh Qassem articulated that the Israeli adversaries, with support from American forces, have set their sights on three key objectives: expansion, the elimination of resistance, and the manipulation of Lebanon’s future. He stated that the Resistance effectively thwarted these ambitions, compelling the adversary to agree to a ceasefire.

**Hezbollah Position**

Hezbollah’s Deputy Secretary General, Sheikh Qassem, emphasized that the organization has provided the Lebanese state with the opportunity to take responsibility for national defense against adversaries. He reiterated the Resistance Party’s firm opposition to any normalization of relations between Lebanon and Israel.

Hezbollah is unlikely to endorse a new arrangement that allows for ongoing violations of Lebanese sovereignty and attacks by Israel, Sheikh Qassem emphasized.

“The opportunity afforded to the state to protect Lebanon is not unlimited, and we stand resilient against the strategies of the US-Israeli alliance.”

Sheikh Qassem emphasized that if a scenario arises where the adversary engages in unrestricted assaults and flagrantly breaches the ceasefire, Hezbollah will not remain passive.

Sheikh Qassem emphasized the achievements of the resistance forces in their engagement with occupying forces in South Lebanon. He also highlighted the substantial turnout for the historic funeral of Hezbollah’s two Secretary-Generals, Martyr Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah and Martyr Sayyed Hashem Safieddine.

Sheikh Qassem has reported receiving multiple letters in recent weeks from Hezbollah fighters requesting authorization to conduct martyrdom attacks.

Sheikh Qassem urged patience among followers during this phase, emphasizing its importance for achieving a divine victory.

Hezbollah’s Secretary General emphasized that the Resistance Party is committed to aiding in state reform and development. He urged the government to prioritize the withdrawal of Israeli forces from South Lebanon and to actively commence the reconstruction of buildings and infrastructure damaged in the conflict with Israeli forces.

Hezbollah’s Deputy Secretary General, Sheikh Qassem, refuted claims of the organization’s involvement in recent incidents along Lebanon’s eastern border. He urged the Lebanese Army to safeguard towns in the region against assaults by Syrian armed groups.

Sheikh Qassem stated that Hezbollah is not participating in the Syrian events where massacres have been committed against Alawites and Christians.
