Hizbullah Media Relations: Responses to Sayyed Nasrallah’s Speech Unworthy

Chief of Hizbullah Media Relations, Mohammad Afif, made the following statement:

Over the past three days, we have listened and viewed various responses to Hizbullah Secretary General His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah’s speech on Friday in which he portrayed his view of the events in Yemen and his analysis of causes and facts supporting it with a sum of data, information and facts.

However, the responses and comments released were quite far from the discussion of those information, data and facts; a deficit on sound arguments – information versus information – and instead reverted to launching distractions, bustles and justification for the aggression.

These responses deliberately obscured the fundamental and basic idea in the speech which called Yemenis to commence talks and work to find a political solution among themselves, away from foreign intervention.

In this plea, Hizbullah’s permanent stance is clear and represented by the call for a dialogue and reaching political understandings in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen and Bahrain.

Hence, in no way did His Eminence’s speech incite Yemenis among one another nor did it provoke to a fight among themselves. On the contrary, there was confirmation of their right to defend against, resist and thwart the invaders.

Faced with this reality that reveals the bad intentions of some of the respondents and the weakness of others in the reading of the speech, we find the statements of these forces and figures feeble and unworthy of a response or comment.
