Human rights main concern of Ahl-ul-Bayt’s doctrine
According to Hawzah, he went on, “The language that the commander of the faithful (Imam Ali) used in his letter to Maalek Ashtar known as ‘Maalek Treaty’ is truly amazing. In his letter to Malek, Imam Ali (PBUH) had said, “people are of two groups; first are those who are not your religious brothers or do not believe in God or any religion, yet they are still entitled to their civil rights as citizens of the community. This point has been mentioned by Imam Ali (PBUH) almost 1400 years ago. That was when there was no such a thing as Human Rights issue being discussed in Europe. We have these facts mentioned in Ahl-ul-Bayt’s sayings and Hadiths.

“Throughout Islam’s history there are cases like when Imam Ali (PBUH) faced his enemy and treated him fairly and did not forget his moral virtues,” Ayatollah Said.
Ayatollah Boroujerdi further said, “The Islam which is being propagated and depicted in world’s media today is the very doctrine which was practiced by Muawiyah and his affiliates. Saudis and Wahhabis are propagating Muawiyah’s and Umayyad’s doctrine. According to this doctrine, Human Rights are of no importance. That’s why the world is regarding Muslim community as a nation who do not realize the meaning of human rights whatsoever. I believe they have right to do so, since Saudi Regime is using its wealth to control all Islamic centers and all Islamic countries follow the Saudi’s orders. As a result, the world is regarding Muslim community as the followers of Muawiyah’s doctrine.”
“We have a great responsibility today. The world, especially Iraq and Syria are infected with ISIS terrorists, such terrorist groups are offspring of Wahhabism and their doctrine. These are all created by Wahhabis. Sadly the world already notices this fact, yet they take no actions,” he added.
