Imam Khamenei pardons 920 prisoners ahead of Islamic Republic Day

The Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed Peple Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei has pardoned and reduced sentences of 920 prisoners ahead of Islamic Republic Day.

Mehr News quoted Leader’s official website that Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani had made a proposal to grant clemency to a number of 920 prisoners on the occasions of Islamic Republic Day.

Imam Khamenei agreed with the proposal on Monday to pardon or reduce sentences of 920 inmates.The Islamc Republic Day is anniversary of Islamic Republic establishment in 1979 after the revolution occured in Iran.
