Imam Khamenei’s message to the Union of Islamic Societies of University Students in Europe

The Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei, has emphasized that university students need to learn piety, at the same time as they learn their subjects and accumulate knowledge and science.

According to IRIB World Service, in a message to the 49th annual gathering of the Union of Islamic Societies of University students in Europe, the Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei emphasized that piety and abstention should be learned alongside science and technology, and piety should go hand-in-hand with accumulating knowledge, and if this happens, then no wealth in the world would match the wealth which you represent – a young and highly-trained and highly educated workforce.

Elsewhere in his message to university students in Europe, the Supreme Leader says the presence of Iranian students in universities across Europe means that “the Iran of the future” will benefit from an array of world-class academics with “global vision and global knowledge”.

Elsewhere in his message the Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei said, I ask you to pay special attention to the question: “Why do Western governments and Western policies promote Islamophobia?”

The Supreme Leader further asked: “Why do power-hungry, aggressive and arrogant Western politicians think of it as absolutely essential to counter political Islam of the type we see in Iran? What frightens them so much?”
