Nationwide Boycot: Yemeni Leader Imposes Nationwide Ban on All American Goods
Yemeni President Mahdi Al-Mashat has announced a prohibition on all American products throughout Yemen. The directive is set to be implemented following a three-month grace period.

On Wednesday, Mashat declared the decision, citing the United States’ backing of Israel’s actions against the Gaza Strip, which she characterized as genocidal.
The president issued a stern warning, stating that decisive measures will be taken against those who defy the boycott directive. He urged the Yemeni populace to avoid patronizing businesses and individuals that persist in dealing with products from the United States and Israel.
In the wake of recent developments, the government has announced its decision to impose sanctions on 15 American weapons manufacturing firms, citing their support for the Israeli regime as the driving factor behind this action.
The government has stated that the sanctions are an integral component of a broader initiative aimed at diminishing the capabilities of the Israeli regime, in efforts to halt the ongoing violence against children and women in the Gaza Strip.
Yemeni military units have launched assaults on Israeli and American positions in solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza, following Tel Aviv’s initiation of a severe military campaign against the blockaded Palestinian region in October 2023.
Operations have led to a complete shutdown of the Eilat port, situated south of the occupied territories, resulting in considerable economic repercussions for Israel.
Yemen’s military has pledged to persist with its offensives until Israel ceases its operations in Gaza.
