In Damascus, Iran’s defense minister pledges ongoing backing for Syria and the resistance front
Iran's Defense Minister, Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh, has affirmed that the Islamic Republic remains committed to providing support for the resistance front, as well as for the Syrian government and its people.

During a meeting held in Damascus on Sunday, Nasirzadeh expressed his comments alongside Kifah Moulhem, the Director of the Syrian National Security Bureau. Nasirzadeh is leading a military and defense delegation on a two-day visit to Syria.
A spokesperson stated that Iran will continue to provide strategic support to Syria in its ongoing battle against terrorism, as well as in endeavors to promote peace and stability within the region.
Moulhem commended the insightful position of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, emphasizing the significance of backing the resistance. He characterized this stance as a vital source of strength for countries in the region.
