Islamic Republic of Iran’s IRGC to unveil smart missile silos

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps began a military drill on Monday as domestically-manufactured smart missile silos are set to be unveiled.
There is no need for missile silos to be controlled by humans because they are connected electrically to missiles launch control center.

Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, the commander of IRGC Aerospace Force, said on Sunday that the war game conveys the message of peace and friendship for regional countries.

Long-range, mid-range, and short-range missiles, including Khalij-e Fars, Shahab 1, and Shahab 2 missiles as well as the latest military equipment manufactured by the IRGC Aerospace Force will be used in the war game, Hajizadeh noted.

The maneuver’s goal is to assess and strengthen the preparedness of military forces, he said, adding new military tactics will be put into practice.

Hajizadeh also said the maneuver poses no threat to other countries and it is being held within the framework of the annual schedule of armed forces in order to maintain their preparedness and deterrence strength.
