Zionist regime breaches ceasefire agreement, launches renewed attacks on Lebanon

The zionist government has continued to breach the tenuous ceasefire agreement with Lebanon, engaging in further aggressive actions against the nation.

The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health announced on Tuesday evening that a drone strike occurred in the southern town of Shebaa, resulting in the death of a civilian.

The regime’s drones conducted strikes on the outskirts of Deir Siryan and Beit Lif, resulting in injuries to an additional civilian.

In southern Lebanon, a series of explosions have been reported across several villages, including Yaroun, as Israeli military operations targeted and demolished residential structures.

According to France, an observer state of the ceasefire, Israel has committed over 50 violations of the agreement.

A source within the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) has reported that Israel has allegedly violated the ceasefire agreement nearly 100 times in recent days.

On Monday, the regime’s assaults on the Arab nation resulted in the deaths of approximately a dozen individuals, according to reports.

According to a statement from Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health, Israeli airstrikes have resulted in the deaths of five individuals in the town of Haris and four others in Tallousa, both located within the southern Nabatiyeh governorate. Additionally, three people have sustained injuries as a result of the strikes.

In an earlier announcement, Lebanon’s State Security agency reported that an Israeli rocket strike resulted in the death of an officer, identified as Mahdi Khreis, in the Nabatiyeh district.

In a recent escalation of violence, another Lebanese individual has reportedly died as a result of Israeli airstrikes in the Marjayoun district.

A Lebanese soldier sustained injuries following an Israeli drone strike in the northeastern region of the country, according to reports.

Despite the implementation of a truce agreement, which officially commenced on November 27 to conclude almost 14 months of conflict between Israel and Hezbollah, the attacks persisted.

The ceasefire remains in place; however, reports have emerged of intermittent and lethal Israeli strikes, which violate the terms of the agreement since it came into effect last week.

The government asserts that its offensives are aimed at positions and military assets belonging to the Hezbollah resistance movement.

The occupying regime has agreed to a truce with Hezbollah following significant battlefield losses and an inability to meet its objectives during its campaign in Lebanon.

In a report released by the World Bank, Israeli military operations in Lebanon have resulted in the deaths of nearly 4,000 individuals, the displacement of over one million residents, and incurred damages exceeding $8.5 billion to the nation’s infrastructure and economy.
