Tens of Gunmen, Family Members Evacuated from Northwestern Homs

The sources reported that 300 people, including 70 gunmen have left al-Wa’er for al-Dar al-Kabireh region in Northern Homs.
Homs Governor General Talal Barazi said that the last phase of the evacuation of gunmen and their family members has started, adding that almost 600 gunmen along with 2,500 of their family members are to leave al-Wa’er for the border town of Jarabulus and militant-held regions in Idlib in two convoys on Friday and Saturday.
He further added that Saturday will be the last day of the evacuation of gunmen and the Syrian Army will enter al-Wa’er on Sunday.
Relevant reports said on Tuesday that more than 2,300 gunmen and their family members left al-Wa’er district in the outskirts of Homs city for Idlib.
460 gunmen, who refused to endorse the peace agreement with the Syrian Army, and almost 1,990 of their family members evacuated al-Wa’er district on 50 buses within the framework of the tenth phase of an evacuation deal between the Syrian Army and militants.
The gunmen and their family members are to be relocated to the militant-held regions in Idlib.
