Iran, China study global developments

Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Asia and Pacific Abbas Araqchi conferred on Wednesday with Chinese Deputy Foreign Minster for West Asia Zhai Jun on regional and global developments.

According to IRNA, in the three-hour meeting, the two sides also closely reviewed current development in Syria.
The two sides also discussed political, economic and cultural issues.
Other issues such as current developments in the Middle East region, Afghanistan and Southeast Asia were also discussed by the two deputy foreign ministers.
The Iranian envoy also highlighted the latest developments in relation to Iran’s peaceful nuclear activities.
The Iranian envoy is scheduled to confer with the Chinese foreign minister on Thursday.
Araqchi arrived in China on Tuesday night to confer with the country’s high ranking officials on regional and global developments.
