Iran condemns assassination of Hezbollah commander in Beirut

Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham on Wednesday denounced assassination of Hezbollah commander Hassan al-Laqqis in south Beirut last night.

According to Foreign Ministry’s Media Diplomacy Department, Afkham said that given the role of the esteemed martyr who dealt blow to the Zionist regime of Israel, Tel Aviv is certainly responsible for the terror.
Afkham condoled with the family and fellow combatants on martyrdom of the commander.
