Iran determined to free Iranian abductees in Syria

The Islamic Republic of Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Hassan Qashqavi, has said that the necessary measures are underway for the freedom of 48 Iranian pilgrims, who were kidnapped in Syria.

According to IRIB World Service, he referred to the latest state of 48 abducted Iranian pilgrims in Syria, adding that Iran hopes these abductees would soon be released.
Meanwhile, the senior Iranian legislator, Alaeddin Boroujerdi, urged the immediate action of the International Committee of the Red Cross for the release of kidnapped Iranian pilgrims in Syria.
He thanked the International Committee of Red Cross for the release of Iranian abductees in Libya, while hoping that this committee would take serious and immediate measures for the release of 48 kidnapped Iranian pilgrims in Syria.
