Iran film festival in Philippines as of new year

Iranian films will be screened in the Philippines as of the advent of the new year in the country.

“Month of Iran’s Art of Cinema” will take place in Philippine as of first day of New Year (2012), according to Iran’s cultural attaché.

A number of outstanding c like “The Holy Mary”, “Jesus Christ” and “the third day” will be screened during the event based on an agreement signed on December 26 between the two sides, IRNA quoted cultural attaché as saying.

At the sidelines of the event, special brochures on the history and content of the Irnain cinema will also be provided to the audience.
