Iran FM visit Saudi Arabia for diplomatic initiative to stop zionist regime’s acts of genocide
The spokesman for Iran's Foreign Ministry has announced that Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is scheduled to visit Saudi Arabia as part of Tehran's diplomatic initiative to halt the continuing regional actions of the Israeli regime.

The top diplomat is set to travel to Saudi Arabia today, as part of ongoing diplomatic initiatives aimed at halting the actions of the Israeli government, according to Esmaeil Baghaei in a post on X. The visit seeks to coordinate with regional countries to address what has been described as genocide and aggression, aiming to relieve the suffering of people in Gaza and Lebanon. Baghaei emphasized the necessity of ending the violence, stating that “carnage and aggression must be stopped.”
He was alluding to the ongoing military offensive initiated by the regime on October 7, 2023, targeting the Gaza Strip. This conflict has resulted in the deaths of nearly 42,000 Palestinians, predominantly women and children. Additionally, the regime has intensified its assaults on Lebanon, leading to the loss of thousands more lives.
During a summit in Tehran on Tuesday, Araghchi discussed his upcoming diplomatic mission, which includes visits to other nations in the region.
He stated that discussions are ongoing concerning regional developments, with a focus on preventing the actions of the Zionist regime in Lebanon, viewed as an extension of their activities in Gaza.
He further stated that efforts will be made to foster a unified front amongst regional nations to halt the brutal assaults occurring in Lebanon.
In a recent announcement regarding the objectives of the forthcoming tour, Baghaei emphasized Iran’s ongoing commitment to strengthening diplomatic ties with neighboring countries. This initiative aims to foster lasting security and stability while enhancing economic collaboration that promises to be advantageous for all regional nations.
On October 4, Araghchi commenced a two-day regional tour with a visit to Beirut, where he engaged in discussions with Lebanese authorities. The following day, he proceeded to Damascus for meetings with Syrian leadership.
