‘Salam O Mahdi’, the epic song which once emerged by its Iranian version ‘Salam Fermande’, has become a transnational chant that unites humanity beyond borders.

Today, people across the globe has one call, addressing the savior who will fill the globe with justice after being fraught with oppression.

On the 15th of Shaaban, the birth anniversary of Imam Mahdi(pbuh), Al-Manar prepared a video that compiles many versions of the song.

‘Salam Fermande’ was initially written in Persian language by the Iranian poet and writer Mahdi Bani Hashemi, and sung last year by the leading Islamic singer Abou Zar Rouhi, in the huge Jamkaran Mosque.

The song was written upon the recommendation of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei, who called on children and youths to address Imam Mahdi (pbuh) and call for his reappearance.

Since then, the song has sparked an unprecedented social phenomenon across the world, signaling a new era of unity among Muslims.
