Zimbabwe FM: Syrians themselves must solve their own crisis

Russia and Zimbabwe stressed that the crisis in Syria should be settled by the Syrians themselves without foreign interference.

The remarks came after a meeting between the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Michael Bogdanov and Simbarashe Mumbengegwi, Foreign Minister of Zimbabwe.

In a statement, the Russian Foreign Ministry stressed the need to reach a peaceful settlement for the crisis in Syria through ending violence and starting a comprehensive national dialogue that enable the Syrians to establish their democratic country without foreign dictations.
