Iran parliamentary delegation in Syria

The Iranian Parliamentary delegation, in addition to a group of representatives of six ally countries of Syria, arrived at the Syrian city of Halab to study the Syrian Presidential Election process.

According to IRIB World Service, citing IRNA, the Iranian parliamentary delegation and members of the parliamentary delegations of ally countries of Syria, who have traveled to Syria, upon the official invitation of Syrian lawmakers, were welcomed by the officials of this Syrian province, upon their arrival on Tuesday morning.

Meanwhile, another Iranian parliamentary delegation, led by the senior Iranian MP, Alaeddin Boroujerdi, who arrived in Syria on Monday night, have gone to Damascus and study the process of elections in this city.

A senior Iranian legislator, Amir Khojasteh, upon arrival in the city of Halab, and in an address to a group of Syrian MPs and officials, said Syrian people determine the fate of Syria via elections.

He added that undoubtedly we will be witness to the significant participation of people in the Syrian elections.

The other parliamentary delegations, which have arrived in the Syrian city of Halab are from Uganda, Zimbabwe, Philippines, Bolivia, Venezuela, and Tajikistan.

The presidential elections are held in Syria, today (Tuesday).
