Iran Reiterates Full Support for Oppressed Palestinian People

800_mya0ylwnwjf07r06djeyp72j6pludrfb Iran’s Ambassador to Beirut Qazanfar Roknabadi once again underlined the Islamic Republic’s will to continue support for the Palestinian nation.
“The Islamic Republic of Iran will always remain beside Palestine and the Palestinian nation until the full liberation of Palestine from the occupation of Zionists,” Roknabadi said, addressing a ceremony in Beirut on Tuesday.

He stressed that the issue of Quds and resistance of the Palestinians against the occupying regime of Israel will never be forgotten.

Roknabadi reiterated that the International Quds Day can be regarded a focal point for the start of an all-out movement of the Islamic Ummah to liberate holy Quds and Palestine.

The International Quds Day was started by the late Founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini, in 1979 as a way of expressing solidarity with the Palestinians and underscoring importance of the holy Quds to Muslims.

International Quds Day is an annual event opposing Israel’s occupation of Beitul-Muqaddas.

Anti-Zionist rallies and demonstrations are held on the last Friday of Ramadan in Muslim and Arab countries around the world, and especially in Iran.
