Iran Rejects Obama’s Speech as ‘Show of Lies’

The Iranian first vice president Mohammad Reza Rahimi said that the recent speech by the US President Barack Obama on the Middle East developments was a series of sham claims and an example of a “ridiculous show of lies.”
“These remarks were in fact a ridiculous show of lies… by tyrannical powers,” Rahimi as saying on Saturday. He made the remark during the inauguration ceremony of the 9th Iran Petrochem Forum in the Iranian capital, Tehran.

The Iranian vice president said that, on the one hand, the world powers wage wars in other countries and kill innocent people, and on the other hand they claim to be the advocates of human rights, justice and peace. “The US has always backed despotic and authoritarian rulers,” the Iranian vice president further said.

Rahimi also lashed out at the world powers for ruining “all humanitarian relations,” and noted that nations around the world have come to realize the evilness of their actions.
