Syrian army inflicts heavy losses on armed gangs in Homs

Syrian security forces have inflicted heavy losses on the foreign-sponsored armed gangs in the suburbs of the western city of Homs, Press TV reports.

Clashes erupted between Syria troops and U.S, Israel and their regional allies-backed armed rebels in several areas near Homs on Saturday.

Meanwhile, security forces began a major operation from the southwestern outskirts of Aleppo on the same day to clear the city of armed gangs.
