Insulting films will cost Zionists dearly:Iranian MP

As global uproar against a US-made film insulting Islam intensifies, an Iranian lawmaker warns that Zionists will suffer severe consequences of their blasphemy against Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).

“An insult to the revered Prophet of Islam (PBUH) is an insult to all divine religions, and those behind this absurd move, who believe in no values and principles, will be duly punished for their silly measure,” Mohammad Ashouri said on Friday.

The Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday that the blasphemous movie which insults Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) has been produced by anti-Islam Israeli-American known as Sam Bacile.

The report added that, Bacile, a real estate developer, has assumed responsibility for the film, which he said was made thanks to Zionist donations totaling USD 5 million.

The Iranian legislator noted that such sacrilegious measures are taken at a time that the Islamic world is grappling with complicated problems due to the conspiracies of the West and global arrogance.

The member of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee stated that the final victory of Muslim nations is close and that the future map of the world will be drawn through determination and enthusiasm of nations.

The Muslim world is outraged at the US-made blasphemous video and protests have erupted in several countries including Iran, Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Sudan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Australia and Pakistan in response to the sacrilegious film.

In a message issued on Thursday, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei slammed the antagonistic policies of Zionism and the US as the root cause of the production of the recent anti-Islam American movie.
