Syria: Gov’t Forces Capture Main Road to Khan Touman

“The road connecting Khan Touman to al-Zarbeh was captured by the Syrian Army and National Defense Forces, following hours of intense battle which ended in the killing or wounding of several terrorists,” the sources said, adding, “The seizing back of the road has enabled the government forces to access the international highway of Aleppo-Damascus and even to further advance towards the strategic airport of Taftnaz in Idlib that is now a military base of al-Nusra Front terrorists.”

“In the meantime, the Syrian fighter jets, in a coordinated operation with the Palestinian Liwa al-Quds, targeted the terrorist centers near Handarat camp in the Northern part of Aleppo province, which claimed the lives of scores of the militants,” the sources said.

Reports said also on Sunday that the Syrian Army and resistance forces, backed up by Syrian air force, stormed the Takfiri terrorists’ positions in the city of Aleppo in Northern Syria.

The army units and the resistance forces managed to push back different Takfiri terrorist groups, including al-Nusra Front from the building of modern research and Halab al-Jadida region

Scores of the Takfiri terrorists were killed and wounded in heavy clashes with the Syrian army and resistance forces, battlefield reports said.
