Yemen Warns of Retaliation Following ‘israeli’ Airstrikes on Sanaa Airport
A senior Yemeni official has denounced Israel's actions targeting Sana'a airport, warning that the Israelis should prepare for a 'hot summer.' The official emphasized that Yemen remains steadfast in its commitment to support Gaza until the alleged genocide ceases.

Mahdi al-Mashat, Chairman of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council, stated that the attack on Sana’a Airport by Zionist forces illustrates their response to prior strikes. He further asserted that such aggression, regardless of its nature, will not deter their efforts but instead will bolster their support operations for Gaza.
An official cautioned settlers, stating that the administration led by “the despicable [Benjamin] Netanyahu is unable to ensure their safety, as forthcoming developments will be distressing.”
An official has issued a global warning advising individuals to refrain from traveling with airlines that persist in operating flights to Lod Airport, citing ongoing sanctions against these companies and concerns over passenger safety.
He cautioned all companies still operating at Lod Airport, also known as Ben Gurion, about the potential risk they face at any given moment.
Israeli airstrikes have destroyed the final operating aircraft at Yemen’s international airport, following a previous assault that caused significant damage weeks earlier.
The airport, which had been shuttered following a significant Israeli offensive that demolished six aircraft, recommenced limited commercial operations on May 17.
Yemeni forces have initiated numerous assaults targeting Israeli entities and their maritime vessels in recent months, aiming to halt the ongoing conflict in Gaza.
Israel has not taken lessons from the United States.
The Lebanese resistance group Hezbollah has denounced the attack on the Yemeni airport, asserting that it breaches international and humanitarian laws and conventions.
Hezbollah has issued a strong condemnation of what they describe as “barbaric Zionist assaults,” asserting that the recent escalation by Israel would not have been possible without substantial support from the United States and the perceived inaction of the international community.
The movement asserted that the aggression underscores that the Israeli adversary “has gleaned no lessons from the experiences of its ally, the United States, which was unsuccessful in subjugating Yemen, its populace, and its leadership, ultimately being compelled to cease its hostilities.”
The statement indicated that the adversary remains entrenched in misconceptions, believing it can attain its objectives of deterring the Yemeni populace or persuading them to abandon their unwavering support for the oppressed Palestinian people, who endure daily acts of violence.
Hezbollah has conveyed its profound pride regarding what it described as the “brave, wise, and courageous” position taken by the Yemeni leadership, reaffirming its steadfast solidarity with the Yemeni people.
The act of aggression is expected to bolster their resolve, strength, bravery, and determination to persist in their efforts until the cessation of the genocidal conflict and the lifting of the siege on the people of Gaza.
Hezbollah has issued an appeal for the “strongest possible condemnation” from the global community, urging decisive and influential measures to lift the unjust blockade affecting Gaza and Yemen.
The movement has once again urged Arab and Islamic countries and their citizens to stand in solidarity with the Yemeni people, advocating for their brave and honorable support for Palestine and its resolute populace.
