Iran top diplomat visits Iraq

Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki, accompanied by a high-ranking delegation, arrived in the Iraqi capital on Thursday for bilateral talks.

The top diplomat was received by his Iraqi counterpart, Hoshyar Zebari.

During the one-day visit, Mottaki is expected to hold talks with top Iraqi officials.

Bilateral relations, including talks on the implementation of agreements between the two countries, will be high on the agenda, the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) News reported.
