Terrorists’ Positions in Damascus, Quneitra Targeted Badly

Local sources said that violent clashes erupted between the army soldiers and the Al-Nusra Front in al-Qaboun district in the Eastern outskirts of Damascus city, adding that the army’s missile units further targeted the terrorists’ defense lines heavily with short-range missiles, inflicting major losses on the militants.
In the meantime, the army’s artillery units started targeting the positions of the terrorists in al-Qaboun and the Tishrin districts.
Local sources said that the Harasta-Barzeh road has been kept closed by the army for the safety of civilian lives.
Army reports said that artillery units also targeted the Al-Nusra Front’s gatherings near Harash al-Shahar area in Jabbata Al-khashab district and destroyed or damaged a number of military vehicles.
The army’s artillery units opened heavy fire at the movements of the terrorists in the outskirts of Muqr al-Mir and the Marwan al-Dababat hill in the Western parts of Damascus province on Thursday.
A military source, meantime, said that the army warplanes launched intensive air assaults on the positions of the terrorist groups in the depth of Jobar district in the Eastern outskirts of Damascus.
Another source in Southern Syria said that government troops destroyed militants’ equipment in massive heavy machinegun fire on their positions and movements in the outskirts of Masharah village.
