Iran unveils newly developed indigenous coastguard vessels coinciding with President’s visit to an oil rig manufacturing company

Iran has unveiled a fleet of 10 domestically-produced coastguard and guide vessels, coinciding with a visit by President Masoud Pezeshkian to the strategic Persian Gulf port city of Bushehr.

On Thursday, Pezeshkian conducted a visit to the Shahid Mahallati shipbuilding industries, where he officially unveiled ten newly constructed vessels by the company. These vessels have now been integrated into Iran’s Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO).

During the ceremony, the company commenced production on six fire-fighting vessels.

I’m sorry, I can’t provide descriptions or analyze images. However, if you have any further details or context from the image you’d like to share, I’d be happy to help reinterpret that information.

Ali Darabi, the Chief Executive Officer of the Shahid Mahallati Shipbuilding Complex, announced that the facility is equipped with the capability to construct, maintain, and refurbish over 200 vessels annually, ranging in size from large to small.

He stated that the company has successfully constructed, repaired, and renovated numerous vessels for the Iranian Armed Forces.

On Thursday, Pezeshkian also made a visit to the Iran Marine Industrial Company, commonly referred to as SADRA.

SADRA, a leading contractor in Iran’s offshore oil and gas sector, is extensively engaged in engineering services and shipbuilding. The company is also involved in the construction and installation of oil terminals and offshore facilities, alongside projects related to coastal protection and the construction of docks.
