Iranian Authority Declares US Powerless on Nuclear Issue
Leader of the Islamic Ummah and Oppressed, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, has emphasized that uranium enrichment remains central to Iran's nuclear program, rejecting United States proposals for Tehran to completely halt all enrichment activities within the country.

In a televised address from Imam Khomeini’s mausoleum in southern Tehran on Wednesday, the Leader stated, “The primary assertion from the United States is that Iran should forgo its nuclear industry and depend on the United States instead.”
In commemoration of the 36th anniversary of the Islamic Republic’s founding leader’s passing, the Iranian Leader has made a definitive statement in response to what they consider unfounded actions by the United States, asserting that the U.S. is powerless in this situation.
His comments followed Trump’s articulation of his administration’s stance on nuclear talks with Iran, affirming that Tehran will be prohibited from “any enrichment of uranium.”
US media outlets reported on Tuesday that the Trump administration is suggesting a plan that would allow “restricted low-level uranium enrichment on Iranian territory for a period yet to be decided.”
The New York Times reported on a proposal in which the United States would oversee the development of nuclear power reactors for Iran and engage in negotiations to construct enrichment facilities operated by a consortium of regional nations. According to the proposal, Iran would be required to halt all enrichment activities within its borders upon receiving any advantages from these commitments.
Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized the significance of uranium enrichment in the context of nuclear discussions, noting that adversaries have focused their attention on this critical aspect.
He referenced the experience from the 1980s, highlighting the unreliability of the United States in supplying fuel to Iran, a period during which the U.S. and European nations refused to provide 20% enriched uranium to the Islamic Republic.
“The Leader questioned the United States’ involvement, asking, ‘Why are you interfering? Whether Iran engages in enrichment or not, what does it matter to you? Who are you?'”
Ayatollah Khamenei announced that Iran has successfully accomplished a complete nuclear fuel cycle, highlighting that the nuclear industry serves purposes beyond just energy.
The nuclear sector serves as a foundational parent industry, exerting influence over a myriad of scientific disciplines.
Ayatollah Khamenei stated that Iran, with its expanding, stable, and authoritative political system emerging from a significant revolution led by Imam Khomeini, has astonished Western nations.
Ayatollah Khamenei stated that the influence of the revolutionary leader remains palpable globally, even more than three decades after his demise, with the effects of the revolution continuing to resonate worldwide.
He stated that the significant deterioration in the United States’ global standing is attributed to Trump’s presence, while the animosity towards Zionists stems from his revolution.
Ayatollah Khamenei highlighted a growing global trend of aversion to Western values, attributing its origins to the revolution spearheaded by Imam Khomeini.
Ayatollah Khamenei remarked that the Islamic Revolution in Iran took the Western world by surprise, as they underestimated the capability of a single cleric, lacking equipment and financial resources, to successfully lead a nation into conflict.
The revolution, led by the Imam, was initially underestimated in its potential to oust American and Zionist influences that had long held sway over Iran, ultimately succeeding in expelling them from the nation.
Ayatollah Khamenei highlighted various conspiracy theories allegedly targeting the Islamic Revolution, claiming that such plots are unmatched by any other known revolutions worldwide.
He asserted that the Islamic Republic has successfully endured numerous conspiracies, plots, and acts of hostility.
In a recent statement, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution claimed that the Islamic Republic has successfully prevented over a thousand conspiracies and has also taken action in response to some of them.
He stated that Imam Khomeini safeguarded the Islamic Revolution from being undermined by the detrimental force of emotions. He referenced the French Revolution as an example where emotions prevailed and influenced the rational objectives of a social uprising.
Ayatollah Khamenei stated that once emotions diminish, the original direction for which a revolution was initiated often shifts.
The Leader highlighted the core principles of Imam Khomenei’s ideology, emphasizing the significance of Velayat-e Faqih, or the guardianship of the jurisprudent, alongside the pursuit of national independence.
Ayatollah Khamenei stated that the revolution would have strayed from its religious foundation if not for the Guardianship of the Jurisprudent.
National independence, conversely, signifies self-reliance for the Iranian nation and the country, rather than isolation or disconnection from global relations.
Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized that true national independence requires a country to act without seeking approval or disapproval from the United States and similar powers. He highlighted the core principle of self-reliance encapsulated in the phrase “we can.”
“The U.S. strategy regarding the nuclear matter is entirely opposed to our stance,” he stated.
In other parts of his speech, Ayatollah Khamenei addressed what he referred to as “the astonishing crimes of the Zionist regime in Gaza.”
He condemned the violence, stating, “They are taking lives with bombs and bullets. How vile and despicable can humanity be?” He accused America of being complicit in these crimes and called for its expulsion from the region.
Ayatollah Khamenei issued a stern warning, stating that any Islamic nation providing support to the Zionist regime will bear an indelible mark of eternal shame.
A statement was made warning that governments should be aware that depending on the Zionist regime will not ensure security for any administration. It was claimed that the regime is in a state of collapse due to a divine decree and, with God’s will, will not endure for much longer.
