Iranian businessmen in Kyrgyzstan confer with minister of trade


A number of Iranian businessmen in Kyrgyzstan conferred with Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Mehdi Ghazanfari in Bishkek on Tuesday afternoon.

According to IRNA, the meeting was held after a dinner banquet in the presence of the First Vice-President Mohammad Reza Rahimi.
The VP asked the minister to hold a meeting with the Iranian economic activists and businessmen to hear their problems.
Lack of direct flight between Tehran and Bishkek and a number of export restrictions were among the group’s demands.
Meanwhile, Iran’s ambassador to Bishkek, by referring to cooperation between Iran and Kyrgyzstan, said that Iranians residing here can help in developing and deepening bilateral ties.
Ali Najafi made the remarks in a meeting between First Vice-President Mohammad Reza Rahimi with Iranians in Kyrgyzstan in the venue of Iran’s embassy in Bishkek on Tuesday evening.
He said that currently there are 400 Iranians who live and work in Bishkek.
Najafi added that the two countries have religious and cultural capacities which is hoped to be expanded.
