Iranian Commander Sees Imminent Rise of American Nation in US

Iranian Armed Forces Deputy Chief of Staff for Cultural Affairs and Defense Publicity Brigadier General Massoud Jazayeri underlined that the growing waves of popular uprisings and revolutions in the region have already spread to not just the European continent, but also the US.
“The flames of awakening have reached the American’s safe coasts in Europe and even the cities of the US itself,” Jazayeri said on Wednesday, adding that Americans have failed to spread Islamophobia despite paying heavy costs for it.

“This is a reality that the Great Satan (the US) and the Zionist lobby ruling the think rooms of the hegemonic (system) are now facing as a consequence of their Islamophobia and war-on-Islam scenarios,” he added.

The Leader of the Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Seyed Ali Khamenei had stressed in May that the European continent would soon experience popular uprisings and revolutions sweeping the Middle-East and North of Africa at present.

Several European countries, including Spain, Greece, France and Britain have, thus far, witnessed similar massive protests against their governments’ policies.

Unrest rocked Britain on a scale unprecedented in 30 years following the police’s killing of black male Mark Duggan in a shooting spree in the London suburb of Tottenham on August 4.

Tension erupted on August 6, when a few hundred people gathered outside a police station in Tottenham to protest the killing.

The protests then spread to major cities like Birmingham, Liverpool, and Bristol.

Despite London’s claims about supporting freedom of expression and flow of information, Britain’s Prime Minister issued orders for blocking public access to social networking websites following the outbreak of social unrests in the country, London in particular.

The British police have arrested many protestors and internet users as part of their clampdown on social networking sites under security excuses.
