Abdul Malik al-Houthi Warns of ‘Dangerous Development’ Amid US ‘Strategic Deception’ Against Iran
The leader of Yemen’s Ansarullah resistance movement on Thursday described the aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran as a “dangerous development” with regional implications, criticizing the United States for what he termed as deceptive practices towards Iran.
In a televised address, Sayyed Abdul Malik Houthi stated that the offensive actions by the Zionist regime occurred despite Iran’s consistent adherence to its doctrine, which does not include pursuing a nuclear weapons program.
The speaker claimed that the Islamic Republic has come under Western scrutiny due to its support for the Palestinian cause and its steadfastness, asserting that there is resistance to a fully “independent” Iran.
The leader of Yemen’s resistance movement has accused Western nations of employing the nuclear issue as a tool of aggression against Iran. This comes despite multiple countries, including the United States, possessing nuclear arsenals and having a history of utilizing such weapons in the past.
The Houthi group has declared that the foremost priority should be preventing the acquisition of nuclear weapons by what they describe as the “criminal Israeli enemy,” which they accuse of consistently evading accountability.
He stated that Iran’s support for oppressed Muslim nations has sparked concern among adversaries, describing it as one of the “primary reasons for animosity” towards the country.
A Yemeni official has characterized Iran as an autonomous nation that advocates for Islamic principles based on its sovereignty, asserting that it remains unyielding in its stance against Western influence.
He remarked that the actions against Iran represent a scandal for the United States, serving as evidence of its reliance on “strategic deception.”
Houthi stated that the adversary has been unsuccessful in reaching its aggressive objectives, which the United States is also pursuing, attributing this to Iran’s resilience, unity, and formidable response.
Iran has launched a formidable response, placing its adversaries in an unprecedented predicament. This latest operation by Iran, hailed as one of significant importance, has evoked a reaction from Israeli forces, who are reportedly attempting to misrepresent the situation.
On Thursday, in a retaliatory operation under True Promise III, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) deployed both missiles and drones to strike targets within the occupied territories.
According to the statement from the IRGC, the current phase aimed at military and industrial sites linked to Israel’s defense-industrial infrastructure in the cities of Tel Aviv and Haifa.
In a recent statement, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) disclosed that a drone operation conducted earlier involved the deployment of over a hundred varieties of combat and suicide drones targeting Israeli military installations. The primary focus was on anti-missile interceptors located in Tel Aviv and Haifa.
These countermeasures follow Israeli military actions that resulted in the targeted killing of several high-ranking military officials, nuclear scientists, and civilians.
