Iranian President Blasts US for Plundering Other Nations’ Resources
Iranian President Seyed Ebrahim Rayeesi blamed the US piracy in the West Asian region, and said that Americans have brought nothing but poverty and misery to any country that they have deployed.

Addressing a group of people during a visit to the Central province of Yazd on Friday, Rayeesi stated the Americans and the Westerners never resolved any problem, not even a single one, in any country.
“They have always been seeking to advance their own interests. They make a presence in other countries under the pretext of building them up, but they plunder their resources,” he noted.
In the case of Iran, Iran’s president underscored that the enemies imagined they could stop the Iranian nation through “maximum pressure”, but they realized that the faithful and resolute people of Iran can never be stopped.
He hailed the presence of the people alongside authorities in all of the country’s affairs, saying such a turnout frustrates the country’s enemies and those who cannot stand Iran’s development.
He undrlined the enemies have made a “miscalculation” in dealing with the Iranian nation.
“We have made progress in many areas and will continue to do so since we have many assets, mainly human resources, which have always been playing a part in various spheres,” President Rayeesi stressed.
Protests erupted in several cities across Iran over the death of Mahsa Amini who fainted at a police station in mid-September and days later was pronounced dead at a hospital. The demonstrations soon turned violent.
An official report by Iran’s Legal Medicine Organization announced that Amini’s controversial death was caused by an illness rather than alleged blows to the head or other vital body organs.
Iranian officials blame Western countries for orchestrating the riots to destabilize the country.
The unrest has claimed the lives of dozens of people and security forces, while also allowing acts of terror and sabotage across the country. Iran’s Interior Ministry has confirmed the enemy waged a hybrid war against the country to weaken national solidarity and hinder the country’s progress, stressing that some 200 people lost their lives in the riots sparked by separatist and terrorist groups.
The US, the UK and the European Union (EU) have imposed a slew of sanctions against Iranian individuals and legal entities since the September death in police custody of an Iranian woman. Iran has returned the adversarial measures and meddlesome statements with sanctions against European, American and British officials and institutions.
