Iranian scientists occupy high global rankings

Iranian scientists stand in high rankings among the one percent leading scholars of the world in engineering, chemistry, computer sciences, medicine and pharmacology.

Scientific output of 59 university professors lists Iranian scientists among the one outstanding percent of the world scientists.

A certain number of scientific production and articled in the Web of Science is the criteria for the assessment.

According to the survey, Iranian scientists have written between 50 to more than 500 articles in different fields of science.

Dr Mostafa Ghaneyee, deputy of Research and Technology Department of Iran’s Health Ministry had previously announced that six Iranian professors at Medicine Universities are listed among the one percent best scientists of the world.

The list includes, Dr Mohammad Abdullahi, Dr Ahmadreza Dehpoor, Dr Baqer Larijani and Dr Mohammadreza Zarrin dast in pharmacology, Dr Reza Malekzadeh in clinical medicine, Dr Farnoosh Farbod in Engineering.
