Iranian Sunni cleric issues a caution regarding the potential repercussions of Trump’s plan for Gaza
In a recent statement, influential Iranian Sunni cleric Molavi Abdol Hamid has issued a warning regarding the potential consequences of a contentious proposal unveiled by U.S. President Donald Trump. The plan involves the forced relocation of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, a move that has sparked considerable concern among various international observers and leaders.

Molavi Abdul Hamid, the Friday prayer leader at the Grand Makki Mosque in Zahedan, southern Iran, expressed criticism on Saturday regarding Trump’s proposal concerning Gaza, labeling it as oppressive towards the Palestinian people.
The academic described the proposal as a monumental error, asserting that it is devoid of any rational basis.
He stated that a range of countries would respond should the United States proceed with its intended plan.
A religious leader has expressed the view that Palestine rightfully belongs to the Palestinian people, and has suggested that Jewish individuals should return to their original homelands.
On February 4, Trump unveiled his initiative during a joint press briefing with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Washington. The plan has sparked widespread international criticism, prompting even American allies to caution against the potential consequences of relocating Palestinians from their territories.
