Iran’s attitude to science humane

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says Iran’s attitude towards science and knowledge is different from those seeking to monopolize technology.

“Our attitude towards science is different from the viewpoint of big powers and those who seek monopoly,” Ahmadinejad said in an inaugural ceremony of a bio-implant factory in central Qom province on Saturday.

He said science, economy and politics should be all at the service of mankind, adding that Iran adopts a humane attitude toward science.

Ahmadinejad inaugurated Iran’s tenth bio-implant factory specializing in production of skin and eye bio-implants.

A bio-implant is a bio-material that is surgically implanted in a person’s body in order to replace the damaged tissue.

The US has so for had a monopoly on production of eye bio-implants.
