Iran’s Defense Minister and Venezuelan President Maduro engage in discussions in Caracas

Iranian Defense Minister, Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh, held a meeting with Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro during his official visit to the South American nation.

On Friday, Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh engaged in discussions with Venezuela’s Vice President and Oil Minister, Delsey Rodríguez, focusing on strategies to enhance bilateral relations and fortify cooperation in the future.

Iran’s Defense Minister, Brigadier General Nasirzadeh, touched down in Caracas on Wednesday. During a briefing with reporters, he highlighted the importance of bolstering economic collaboration between Iran and Venezuela.

He emphasized the need to harness numerous untapped opportunities to enhance cooperation between the two nations.

He stated that the purpose of the visit is to assess and propose strategies for enhancing synergy and expanding economic collaboration between the two nations.

Nasirzadeh, who holds the position as the head of the Iranian delegation for the Iran-Venezuela Joint Economic Cooperation Commission, is scheduled to attend the Commission’s 10th meeting.
