Iran’s first VP arrives in Baghdad

Jahangiri’s three-day visit is made on the invitation by Iraqi Prime Minister Haider Al-Abadi , who has visited Iran in September 2014.

Ministers of Industry, Mine, and Trade; Economic Affairs and Finance; Health and Medical Training; Agriculture; Roads and Urban Development, and the Head of Iran Cultural Heritage, Handcrafts and Tourism Organization are accompanying Iran’s First VP in his visit to Iraq.

Jahangiri is scheduled to hold meetings with Iraqi President Fuad Masum, Foreign Minister Ibrahim Al-Jaafari, Parliament Speaker Salim Al-Jabouri and Al-Abadi on issues of mutual interests, the regional and international developments.

Attending Iran-Iraq High Commission, discussing the solutions to the phenomenon of dust and haze pollution with Iraqi officials, signing MoUs, joint press conference with Iraqi PM, and visiting Iran’s exhibition in Iraq are among the scheduled plans of the Iranian officials in Baghdad.
