Iran’s Military Dismisses Allegations of New Missile Launches at ‘israel’
Iran has categorically rejected claims of new missile launches toward occupied territories following the regime's cessation of hostilities early on Tuesday.
The statement highlighted that sources linked to the Zionist regime asserted that Iranian missiles had been launched at the territory under their control; however, this claim was false.
In response to a ceasefire agreement with Trump that compelled the cessation of hostilities against Iran, Israel’s War Affairs Minister, Israel Katz, declared that he had directed the Israeli military to “respond forcefully” to what he described as Iran’s breach of the truce.
According to a well-informed source speaking to Press TV, the allegation serves merely as a pretext for the violation of the “truce” agreement established between the Israeli regime and Washington.
Iran is currently evaluating the developing circumstances and considering whether the Israeli regime will honor the agreement it established with Trump to cease its aggressive actions.
Sources indicate that it was the Israeli government that reached out to Trump with a proposal to cease its offensives against Iran. This overture followed Trump’s suggestion that the United States would refrain from intervening in the conflict after Iranian missile strikes targeted a US base in Qatar.
Following the Iranian retaliation, Trump utilized social media to announce a “peace” stance with Iran. Reports from US media indicate that he resolved not to pursue any further escalation after Iran’s response.
Iran has launched a counteroffensive named ‘Operation Tidings of Victory’ following recent American actions targeting Iranian nuclear facilities early Sunday.
Iranian officials have issued a stern warning, indicating that any violation of the ceasefire agreement between Tel Aviv and Washington could prompt a more forceful response.
In a statement released early Tuesday, Major General Mohammad Pakpour, the chief commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), cautioned that any further acts of aggression towards Iran would lead the Islamic Republic to deliver a “historic lesson” to Washington.
Pakpour condemned Trump’s directive to initiate the offensive, aligning it with Washington’s unwavering endorsement of what he described as the “nefarious and child-killing” Israeli regime.
He stated that these actions equate to Trump “compromising the interests and security of the American people in favor of the Israeli regime’s survival.”
The hostilities targeting the Islamic Republic concluded after a 12-day period. Commencing on June 13, the Israeli forces initiated unprovoked and illegal strikes across Iran, resulting in the deaths of high-ranking military leaders, nuclear scientists, and civilians.
In retaliation, the Iranian military conducted a series of missile and drone attacks on the occupied territories, focusing on vital military, intelligence, and industrial sites.
