IRI to become self-sufficient in petrol production

IRI Deputy Oil Minister, Alireza Zeighami said on Saturday the Islamic Republic of Iran will produce petrol and gasoline on the basis of international standards.

He said petrol production was increased to 38.8 million litters in Iran and there is no need to petrol import within the next Iranian year.

“Over 12.8 million litters will be added to the petrol capacity of the country through launching new petrol production projects and refineries,” Zeighami added.
