The Syrian army made major advances in Aleppo countryside in the Northern parts of the country and regained control over significant parts in the region.
The army conducted a series of operations in different parts of the Aleppo countryside and killed a large number of Takfiri terrorists after destroying their gathering centers.

Meantime, Syrian soldiers stormed the strongholds of armed groups in Aleppo and Idlib, leaving a large number of the rebels dead and injured.

The army soldiers struck major blow at the militants in the areas of Handarat, Kafr Hamra, Bashkoi, Saifat Tal Farah, Tal Jabin, al-Mallah, Tal Rafaat and Hreitan in Aleppo province.

Also, the gathering centers of insurgents were targeted by the army near Tal Karatin village in Idlib countryside, causing the death of the too many militants.

Foreign-backed militants suffered heavy losses, as the Syrian Army gained major ground against the armed groups in Damascus and Homs.

A military source said heavy clashes broke out between rebels and the army soldiers on Friday, in which strongholds of the insurgents came under the heavy fire of the army in Harasta and Jarrod al-Qalamoon in Damascus Countryside and too many militants lost their lives.

Also, the hideouts of the rebels in Erbeen, Zamalka, Jobar al-Doukhaniyeh, Ein Tarma, Saqba, al-Qasmyeh, al-Jarba, al-Zamanyeh, Khan al-Sheeh, al-Zabadani, Khaled Kanaan, and al-Darsani were targeted in the countryside of Damascus.

Meantime, the army inflicted heavy casualties on the militants in al-Wa’er, al-Khrab, al-Amriah al-Ghajar, al-Sukhna, al-Majbal, al-Qarya, al-Namozajyeh, Khattab, Rahoum, Bait Kafa and al-Dwaibieh in Homs province.

Also in the last 24 hours, the Syrian army troops managed to retake full control of three towns in the western part of the country.

On Sunday, Syrian army units pushed al-Qaeda-linked al-Nusra Front terrorists out of the town of al-Jabin as well as two others in the western province of Hama.

“Our mission is to clear Hama Province completely and end the siege that terrorists are imposing on army bases in Wadi al-Daif in Idlib Province,” a Syrian army trooper, requesting anonymity, said.

Meanwhile, Syrian government forces continued their mop-up operations against terrorists in several areas across the country on Sunday, killing and injuring a number of them and destroying their vehicles.

Intense clashes erupted between the Syrian forces and Takfiri militants in the towns of Murk, situated some 200 kilometers (124 miles) North of the capital, Damascus, Kafr Zita, Khirbat Atshan and al-Habit in Hama Province. The Syrian army killed and injured a number of terrorists.

Syrian troops also confronted al-Nusra Front militants in the city of Saraqib in the Northwestern province of Idlib, leaving a number of them dead and wounded and destroying several cars equipped with heavy machine guns.

Syria has been experiencing unrest since March 2011 with organized attacks by well-armed gangs and terrorists against both the army and civilians.

The unrest, which took in terrorist groups from across Europe, the Middle-East and North Africa, has transpired as one of the bloodiest conflicts in recent history.

As the foreign-backed insurgency in Syria continues without an end in sight, the US government has boosted its political and military support to Takfiri extremists.
