A bomber has rammed his explosive-laden car into the Iraqi Interior Ministry’s intelligence headquarters in the capital, Baghdad, killing at least 11 people and injuring several others.

According to Press TV, Iraqi security officials said on Saturday that about 10 other people were injured in the blast which took place at the entrance of the building in central Baghdad.
No group has claimed responsibility for the bombing, but the attack bore the hallmarks of Takfiri terrorists fighting the Iraqi government.
Also on Friday night, a bomber driving a military Humvee packed with explosives attacked a gathering of soldiers and volunteers near Tikrit, killing at least nine people.
The latest blasts come a day after unknown assailants stormed a mosque in Diwali Province, killing dozens of people and injuring several others.
Meanwhile, atrocities by ISIL Takfiri terrorists have caused a new exodus of Iraqi Christians after the fall of the Assyrian city of Qaraqosh in northern Iraq. Many of the refugees have been seeking refuge in the country’s semi-autonomous Kurdistan region.
