Al-Hayya: March of Return forcing Israel to lift Gaza siege

Hamas leader Khalil al-Hayya on Friday said that the Palestinian people are determined to restore their legitimate rights.

Al-Hayya said that hundreds of Palestinians took part on Friday in the Great March of Return for the 37th week in a row despite the heavy rain and cold weather.

Al-Hayya affirmed that the Great March of Return is forcing Israel to gradually lift the siege on the Gaza Strip.

He praised the efforts that had been made to foil the US-drafted resolution condemning Hamas at the United Nations, and stressed that armed resistance is a legitimate right guaranteed by all norms and religions.
