Iraqi border guards repel ISIS attack

Iraqi border guards have successfully repelled an ISIS attack on the Al-Walid border crossing between Iraq and Syria on Friday.

The Al-Walid crossing, in the western Anbar province of Iraq, was attacked by ISIS terrorists coming from the Syrian side of the border. According to military sources, the 2nd Regiment of the Maghaweer Border Guards Brigade suffered two casualties, while killing at least 10 ISIS fighters and driving them back into the Syrian desert.
