Hundreds of Jisr al-Shughour People Return to City

Scores of families displaced by the externally supported terrorist armed groups  from Jisr al-Shughour, continued to return to their homes from the Turkish refugees camps.

730 nationals form Jisr al-Shughour returned to the city as the army had brought back security and stability.

In statements to the Syrian TV, a number of Jisr al-Shughour inhabitants stressed the people’s continued return to their homes, pointing out that life in the city is stable and the market movement is good.

The inhabitants added that electricity, water and land phone networks, ransacked and vandalized by organized armed groups, were restored and repaired.

They called upon some neighbors, who fled the city in fear of the armed terrorist groups, to return safely to their houses.

The inhabitants said they were received by the army officers and soldiers, adding that people of Jisr al-Shughour has suffered hard conditions due to the saboteurs.

Mahmoud al-Abhas from al-Maland Village told SANA correspondent that the reality is different from what some Arab and foreign media tries to show, adding that despite of all their attempts to horrify people in order not to return to their homes, the great desire made them return.

The situation in the camps made it a must for people to form popular committees to help people come back and to facilitate their passage to the Syrian territories, according to the citizens.

Maher Madani, a local citizen, was not surprised by the warm welcome and the good treatment of military members. He expressed his yearning to pursue his vocation as a worker in a bakery.

He insisted on unmasking the exercises of the armed groups in the city before and after their departure, describing the brutal acts of killing and destroying public and private properties, in addition to the threats they used to receive by these members in order not to come back.
