Iraqi MP calls FM to sue Saudi, Qatar, Turkey for financing chaos in Iraq

MP Aliya Nusaiyf called on the Iraqi Ministry for Foreign Affairs to bring lawsuits at the Arab League and the United Nations in case of verifying the news over financing and supporting the demonstrations in Iraq by foreign countries.

Nusaiyf clarified that “there are information about Saudi and Qatari funding for the demonstrations in several Iraqi cities besides the support and planning of Turkey.”

Earlier, some media outlets reported that certain politicians, tribal figures and some neighboring countries finance the demonstrations and protests in Anbar, Salah il-Din and Nineveh.
