Iraqi premier criticizes Iraqi parliament

According to IRIB World Service, citing Al-Alam News Network, the Iraqi premier, in his keynote speech in eastern Iraq on Saturday strongly criticized the current Iraqi parliament, while adding that if the problems which a number of individuals have caused for Iraq, undermining this country, would be revealed, undoubtedly the people would stage an uprising against them.
In further remarks, the Iraqi premier accused a few of continuous enmity against Iraq and efforts to topple the Iraqi government.
Maleki went on to emphasize that the Iraqi administration, despite all challenges and problems, managed to establish the army; to drive out foreign forces from Iraq; to exclude Iraq from the 7th Chapter of UN Charter; and to revive the status of Iraq; while the annual budget of this country is currently seven-fold of Iraq’s 2003 annual budget.
The election campaign of the candidates running for Iraqi parliament has commenced as of March 31, 2014, and will continue until one day before the legislative election, due on April 30.
