Iraqi resistance forces carry out strikes on zionist military positions within the occupied territories

The Islamic resistance movement in Iraq has announced the execution of a fresh operation, reportedly targeting Israeli military installations located within the occupied Palestinian territories.

The coalition of Iraqi resistance groups announced that its drones targeted a crucial location in Umm Al-Rashrash, also known as Eilat, situated in the southern region of the occupied territories on Monday morning.

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced that on Monday, November 18, 2024, its fighters carried out a drone strike on a strategic location in Umm Al-Rashrash, also known as Eilat, which is under occupation. This operation, the group stated, forms part of their ongoing resistance against the occupation, supports the people in Palestine and Lebanon, and serves as a response to what they described as massacres perpetrated by the occupying entity against civilians, including women, children, and the elderly.

A fresh assault occurred just one day following the group’s declaration of having targeted three other Israeli sites in the same region.

In a recent statement, the group reaffirmed its commitment to anti-regime activities, expressing support for the Palestinian and Lebanese populations, who they claim are facing widespread violence at the hands of Israeli military forces.

In recent months, a resistance group has launched attacks on multiple American military installations in Iraq and Syria, citing Washington’s backing of Israel and alleged associated offenses as the impetus for their actions.

The resistance group has announced its commitment to intensifying its operations, pledging to escalate its efforts in the coming period.

Since October 7 of last year, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq has undertaken a series of operations targeting sensitive sites in the occupied territories. This follows the commencement of a conflict by the Israeli regime, described as genocidal, in the Gaza Strip.

The military offensive in Gaza has resulted in the deaths of 43,799 Palestinians, predominantly women and children, while injuring 103,601 individuals, according to recent reports. Additionally, thousands remain unaccounted for and are feared to be trapped beneath debris.

The coalition has launched retaliatory strikes on US military installations in Iraq and Syria in response to Washington’s extensive political, military, and intelligence backing of Israel’s actions in Gaza.
