Iraqi resistance forces initiate counter-drone attacks targeting occupied sites in Eilat and the Golan Heights
Iraqi anti-terrorist factions have launched a series of targeted attacks on key Israeli sites within the occupied territories. These actions come as a response to what they describe as the ongoing aggressive measures and airstrikes by Israel against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and various locations in Lebanon.

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq, a coalition of anti-terror groups, announced via its Telegram channel on Wednesday that it had conducted a drone attack on a significant target in the Red Sea port city of Eilat using kamikaze drones.
The attack has been described as a continuation of resistance efforts against the Israeli government, aimed at expressing solidarity with Palestinian and Lebanese communities. It is reportedly a response to the recent incidents involving civilian casualties attributed to Israeli actions in the region.
The coalition announced its ongoing commitment to targeting and dismantling key installations within the occupied territories.
The resistance group has disclosed a second drone strike targeting another Israeli site within the same vicinity.
In a follow-up statement released on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced that its fighters had conducted a second drone strike targeting a significant site in Umm al-Rashrash, known as Eilat, during the early morning hours.
The group stated that the strike was a response to Israeli actions, alleging acts of aggression that include the killing of women, children, and the elderly in the occupied Palestinian territories and Lebanon.

On Wednesday, the anti-terror coalition announced that it had carried out two distinct drone attacks targeting critical Israeli infrastructure in the Golan Heights, using unmanned aerial vehicles equipped with explosives.
Since October 7 of last year, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq has carried out multiple operations targeting key locations within the occupied territories. These actions commenced following the launch of what has been described as a genocidal campaign by the Israeli regime in the Gaza Strip.
At least 42,718 Palestinians, predominantly women and children, have lost their lives as a result of the ongoing Israeli military offensive, according to recent reports.
The coalition has executed counterattacks on United States military bases located in Iraq and neighboring Syria. These actions are in response to Washington’s extensive political, military, and intelligence backing of Israel amid its operations in Gaza.
