IRGC Chief Affirms Iran’s Readiness Amid Escalating US Tensions
The Chief Commander of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that the nation is ready to face any situation amidst threats of military intervention from the United States. He assured that adversaries would face complete humiliation in any confrontation with Iran.

The Chief Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) has declared that Iran is ready for any potential scenario in light of US threats of military intervention, asserting that adversaries will face utter humiliation in any confrontation with Iran.
Major General Hossein Salami addressed an assembly in Mashhad, a city located in southeastern Iran, where he commented on potential threats from the United States. The US administration has indicated that it might consider military action against Iran should the current negotiations aimed at reviving the 2015 nuclear deal fail to progress.
In a statement emphasizing vigilance, he declared, “We have a comprehensive understanding of the adversary and are closely observing its actions. Despite ongoing political dialogues and negotiations, we maintain our dignity and resolve, warning that any entity attempting to confront Islamic Iran will face decisive consequences.”
The general reported that Iran’s strength has significantly increased since last year, a fact that its adversaries are also well aware of.
He highlighted that Iran’s defense strategy does not depend on the Resistance Front. However, in the event of any threats, the Resistance Front is prepared to respond with strength and determination.
General Salami has dismissed claims that Israeli assaults over the last year have weakened the Resistance Front, stating that recent operations demonstrate the opposite. Meanwhile, the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces has declared that the nation’s Army and IRGC naval units are at the height of their operational and combat readiness, prepared to tackle any hostile actions.
According to his statement, adversaries who assumed the Resistance Front had diminished in strength are witnessing a resurgence. Gaza has demonstrated increased resilience, Yemen’s missile capabilities have become more effective, and Hezbollah has regained its power.
General Salami further stated that the Zionist regime finds itself in a state of agitation and anger, with no promising future in sight.
The prime minister of Israel is perceived by some as a war criminal and faces concerns over potential arrest. Politically, Israel is said to have collapsed, with even European nations reportedly hesitant to uphold formal political relations. Economically, the country is described as fragmented, relying heavily on American support for its survival.
A high-ranking military official questioned the resilience of those impacted by a recent single missile strike by Yemen’s Ansarullah. Highlighting the attack on Ben Gurion Airport in the Israeli-occupied territories, the official raised concerns about the potential response to a barrage of 600 missiles.
“Trump’s actions were seen as exacerbating existing problems.”
General Salami asserted that Trump only exacerbated the existing issues. He noted that the United States is experiencing turmoil, characterized by a weakened military and ineffective leadership.
He emphasized that the United States is well aware that warfare has failed to address its issues, as it grapples with a deteriorating and depleted military force, besieged and ineffectual political leadership, and a daunting spectrum of crises and challenges.
Trump initially approached global affairs with a forceful demeanor, aiming to reshape the world. However, he has since been altered by circumstances, leading to withdrawals and setbacks in his intended plans, he noted.
The general emphasized that a shift in the presidency does not fundamentally change the realities within the United States, nor does it reverse the overt and covert decline of America’s global influence.
